Hi, I'm Venus Bradley, founder and Managing Editor of Galaxy Ink.

For more than fifteen years, I've worked behind the scenes helping authors bring their books into the world. I've served as an acquisitions editor, developmental editor, production manager, head of structural editing, and senior content editor, contributing to hundreds of books across trade publishing, higher education, nonprofit organizations, and independent publishing.

 

Along the way, I learned something important.

 

Publishing isn't just about producing a good book. It's about helping authors navigate one of the biggest creative projects of their lives.

 

Too often, I watched authors become overwhelmed by confusing publishing jargon, unexpected costs, shifting expectations, and processes that left them feeling like passengers instead of partners. Decisions weren't always explained. Pricing wasn't always transparent. Authors sometimes felt like they had signed up for one experience only to discover something very different halfway through.

 

I knew there had to be a better way.

 

That's why I founded Galaxy Ink.

You'll work directly with me throughout your publishing journey, and when specialized expertise is needed, whether that's cover design, copyediting, illustration, or proofreading, I bring in trusted publishing professionals who share the same commitment to quality and integrity.
